Held on a sacred 17th-century estate in the south of Italy during the Samhain portal, the mysterious threshold where the veil between worlds thins, this initiatory retreat is devoted to the reclamation of the forgotten rites of the priestess, oracle, mystic, healer, and wild feminine devotee - The Ancient Women.

This is not a retreat in the modern sense.
It is a ritual crossing.

We will explore the mysteries of Persephone and Demeter, the descent of Inanna, the serpentine wisdom of Medusa, the hidden rites of Kore, and the ancient feminine traditions once encoded within the Eleusinian Mysteries. Our journey of shapeshifting will bring us face to face and womb to womb into the living descent of the primordial feminine mysteries.

For nearly two thousand years, the Eleusinian Mysteries were among the most sacred initiatory rites of the ancient world. Held in honor of Demeter and Persephone, these rites guided initiates through a symbolic death and resurrection experience; a revelation that life, death, ecstasy, sexuality, fertility, grief, spirit, and rebirth were not separate, but woven into a single holy continuum.

Ancient temples, ley lines, stone circles and enchanted forests beckon us deeply into their embrace as we sink into the mysteries of the south of Italy. Our ritual retreat will merge ancient mystery school teachings, oracular ceremonial facilitation, feminine folkloric medicines, divination and dreamspells, sun & moon devotions, invocations of ecstatic empowerment, sacramental elixirs, wise woman witchery and so much more!

In states of ritual becoming, creation ceases to feel separate from us; it moves through us as memory, sensation, instinct, eros, grief, intuition, and living revelation. Within the ancient mystery schools, women underwent ritual purification, fasting, sacred processionals, medicinal sacrament ceremonies, dream incubation, ecstatic prayer, sex magick, anointing rites, grief rituals, and initiatory encounters designed to dissolve the ordinary self and awaken direct contact with the sacred intelligence of life itself.
